Before going South from Goa we really wanted to have an adventure, so we took our bikes and rode over 170 km North to Maharashtra.
Once we left Arambol and crossed the bridge to Maharashtra the scenery changed rapidly. We saw nice villages, temples, kids going to school and fruit markets. We passed village by village, town to town, reached some deserted areas with red clay, dangerous turns. Suddenly we decided to make a turn in a direction of the Ocean and here’s what happened next.
In two or tree kilometers we found ourselves at the foot of the mountain so we went up to see what’s around. From there we saw a beach and we headed there.
There was a village of maybe 10-15 huts for maybe the same amount of families hidden in the shade of palm and mango trees. They did not want to let the strangers in, of course, they did not know what to expect from us, but eventually they let us go, so there you can see the pictures from a lost paradise.
